1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) outlines the terms under which refunds, credits, and cancellations are handled for services provided by Buzz Clique LLC (“Buzz Clique,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By purchasing or engaging any of our services, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
This Policy should be read alongside our Privacy & Cookies Policy, our Terms, Conditions & Disclaimer, and our Acceptable Use Policy, all of which are incorporated by reference and form part of the overall agreement between you and Buzz Clique.
2. One-Time and Custom Services
Many one-time services are custom in nature, built specifically around the needs and requests of the individual client. Once a custom service or deliverable has been requested and work has begun, Buzz Clique will make every reasonable effort to ensure the client is satisfied with the outcome.
However, once final work has been delivered, payments are considered final and no refunds or credits will be issued unless required by applicable law, provider policy, or a separate written agreement. By requesting a custom or one-time service, you acknowledge and accept that payment is non-refundable upon delivery of the completed work, subject to those limited exceptions.
3. Project-Based Services
Project-based services typically require a deposit of fifty percent (50%) of the total project cost before work begins, with the remaining fifty percent (50%) due upon completion. The following refund terms apply:
Cancellation Before Work Begins
If a client has paid the required fifty percent (50%) deposit and submits a cancellation request in writing before any work has commenced, a ten percent (10%) administrative fee will be deducted from the deposit amount. The remaining balance may be refunded or applied as a credit toward a future purchase at the client’s election.
Cancellation After Work Has Begun
If a cancellation is requested after work on the project has already started, the project will be stopped and final deliverables will not be completed or transferred to the client. The initial fifty percent (50%) deposit will be retained by Buzz Clique to cover work already started, tasks completed, tasks in progress, reserved production time, administrative time, and costs incurred at the time of cancellation. No additional refund or credit will be issued in this circumstance unless required by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
4. Monthly Service Plans
Monthly service plans are prepaid at the start of each service period. If a client cancels service partway through a prepaid month, no prorated refund or credit will be issued for any unused portion of that month. Service will remain active through the end of the prepaid period and will not renew for the following month.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to billing@buzzclique.com before the next billing cycle begins to avoid being charged for an additional month of service.
5. Annual Service Plans
Annual service plans are prepaid in full and offered at a discounted rate equivalent to ten (10) months of service at the standard monthly rate, providing two (2) months of service at no additional charge. The following terms apply based on when a cancellation is requested:
Early Termination — Fewer Than Ten Months Used
If an annual plan is canceled before ten (10) months of service have been completed, the annual discount will be forfeited. The standard non-discounted monthly rate will be applied to each month of service used. Any partial month of service will be treated as a full month for this calculation. Any amount paid in excess of the recalculated total may be refunded or applied as an account credit at our discretion, subject to applicable law and any third-party provider terms.
Cancellation After Ten or More Months of Service
If a client has completed ten (10) or more months of service under an annual plan, the discounted rate is considered earned and retained in full. At that point, the client may elect to continue service through the end of the annual term to receive their two (2) complimentary months, or cancel service before using those months. If the client elects to cancel before using the remaining complimentary months, those months carry no cash value and no refund or credit will be issued for them unless required by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
6. Hosting, Email, and Domain Services
Hosting, email, domain registration, and related infrastructure services offered by Buzz Clique are sold under Buzz Clique pricing and branding but are operated and supported through our reseller partnership with GoDaddy. Depending on how the service is purchased, payments for hosting, email, domain, and related reseller services may be processed through GoDaddy, a GoDaddy-affiliated checkout, or another approved payment processor.
Refund eligibility for hosting, email, domain, and related reseller services is governed by the underlying refund policies published by GoDaddy in effect at the time of purchase or renewal. In general:
- Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and related domain services are refundable only if permitted under GoDaddy’s then-current refund policy and any applicable registry rules. Many domain-related charges become non-refundable once registered, renewed, transferred, redeemed, or outside the applicable refund window.
- Hosting services may be subject to a limited money-back window per GoDaddy’s then-current refund terms; outside that window, hosting fees are non-refundable.
- Email services are typically non-refundable after activation unless GoDaddy’s terms in effect at the time of purchase provide otherwise.
- Add-ons, expedite charges, and product upgrades are generally non-refundable.
Where a refund is permitted under GoDaddy’s terms, Buzz Clique will make reasonable efforts to facilitate the eligible refund on the client’s behalf. Where a refund is not permitted by GoDaddy, Buzz Clique cannot independently issue a refund or credit for those services unless required by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
7. Advertising Spend and Media Budgets
Advertising spend, media budgets, platform charges, and ad credits paid to third-party advertising platforms are non-refundable once spent, committed, or charged by the platform. Buzz Clique’s management fees are separate from advertising spend and are subject to the cancellation terms applicable to the service plan or agreement under which they were purchased.
8. Third-Party Fees and Purchases Made on Your Behalf
From time to time, Buzz Clique may purchase third-party services, software, plugin licenses, expedite charges, advertising credits, stock images, fonts, premium plugins, platform subscriptions, or other items on a client’s behalf in connection with the delivery of services. These purchases are strictly non-refundable unless the third-party vendor permits a refund and the refund is successfully recovered.
In the event a refund from a third-party vendor is warranted, Buzz Clique will make reasonable efforts to negotiate a refund on the client’s behalf. However, such outcomes are not guaranteed and in many cases are unlikely. If a third-party refund cannot be obtained, those charges will stand as final with no credit or refund issued by Buzz Clique unless required by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
9. How Refunds and Credits Are Issued
Unless applicable law, provider policy, or the original purchase terms require a different method, approved refunds may be issued as either an account credit applied to the client’s account with Buzz Clique or as a refund to the original payment method, at Buzz Clique’s discretion.
When a cash refund is issued, it will generally be returned in the same format as the original payment was received:
- Payments made by credit or debit card will be credited back to the same card used for the original transaction.
- Payments made by business or company check will be refunded by check.
- Payments made via ACH or electronic bank-to-bank transfer will be returned via the same method where possible.
- Refunds for hosting, email, domain, and related reseller services that are eligible under GoDaddy’s policies will be processed by GoDaddy and returned to the original payment method on file with that account.
Refund Processing Timeframes
- Account credits are typically applied within two to three (2–3) business days of approval.
- Cash refunds for services billed by Buzz Clique are typically processed and issued within seven to ten (7–10) business days of approval.
- Refunds for hosting, email, and domain services follow GoDaddy’s processing timelines, which may vary.
10. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
All refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Acceptable forms of written request include verifiable email correspondence sent to billing@buzzclique.com or mailed correspondence sent to our business address on record.
Upon receipt of a written request, Buzz Clique will conduct an internal review of the circumstances. Following that review, a member of our team will contact you to discuss your options and any applicable refund or credit that may be available to you. Refunds and credits are not automatically issued upon request and are subject to review under the terms outlined in this Policy.
Client Delays and Abandoned Projects
If a project is delayed because the client fails to provide required content, access, approvals, feedback, or decisions, project timelines may be extended. If a client becomes unresponsive for more than thirty (30) days, Buzz Clique may pause the project. If a client remains unresponsive for more than ninety (90) days, the project may be treated as abandoned, and payments made to date may be retained to cover work performed, reserved production time, and administrative costs. Reactivation of an abandoned project may require a new timeline, updated quote, or restart fee.
11. Non-Refundable Circumstances Summary
For clarity, the following are generally non-refundable unless applicable law, provider policy, or a separate written agreement requires otherwise:
- Completed and delivered one-time or custom work
- The fifty percent (50%) deposit on project-based work once work has begun
- Unused days remaining in a prepaid monthly service period
- The two (2) complimentary months on an annual plan when a client cancels after ten (10) or more months of service
- Hosting, email, domain, and related reseller services outside of GoDaddy’s published refund windows
- Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and related domain services outside of any applicable provider or registry refund window
- Advertising spend, media budgets, platform charges, and ad credits once spent, committed, or charged by the platform
- Any third-party fees, licenses, charges, or purchases made on a client’s behalf that cannot be recovered from the vendor
12. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. To the extent permitted by applicable law and the terms of any separate written agreement, continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
